I realize this topic is meaningless to a great many users within this community so if you fall in this camp I'm sorry to waste your time. If however you are a multi core CPU owner then I hope you find suggestion one of value and will jump on the bandwagon.
In short being the highly anal type of guy that I am I like to keep my PC extremely optimized and my biggest effort in achieving this state of performance has traditionally be setting and maintaining core affinity for applications and services. I waited for several years for something to be done about it on XP but nothing has ever materialized even after several emails to MS. So when Vista came out and Intel released the C2D CPUs and with it the mainstream consumers entrance into the wonderful world of HPC I was sure something of this nature would have been included as a fundamental feature. Needless to say imagine my surprise when I installed Vista64 and found nothing of this ilk.
So what do people think? Is expecting and wanting something like simply not reasonable or is it something that others find a needed option and if would SD make it?
