Decided fairly last minute to go and see Blades of Glory after asking my daughter (who surprised me by being interested in same) if she wanted to see it. Went to an early matinee this a.m., though not the earliest. Two theatres at the megaplex were showing Blades and we wound up catching the 3rd possible showtime right around noon.
Choice of seats in the theatre were still available when the previews rolled and things didn't get any better by showtime. I'd guess there were about 25 - 30 people at most in a theatre that would hold about 350.
Anyway, the film wasn't too bad. I half expected that the best parts had already been spoiled in the trailers and advertisements leading up to the film. That wasn't the case at all, with plenty of fun still still a surprise while watching the movie.
Cute story, somewhat predictable, but cute. A decent cast of talent filling the various rolls, and fairly short running time so you don't get tired of sitting in the seat watching things. Certainly an acceptable use of disposable entertainment income.
