I really don't think it has anything to do with your Dreams, AzDude. From what I can gather, most people here are not experiencing any problems with them (or the other Dreams for that matter). I think it's just 1's and 0's on particular machines that are getting into arguments with each other. It might be a matter of bad video codices (I like that plural form of codex...sounds "technical", huh?

)and/or old drivers. It could also be some bad online Bingo software they loaded last week for all we know and it's conflicting with Dreams....or they have a crapload of background programs running that are vying for the currentl heavy CPU usage that Dreams are taking. I don't think there is just one culprit. I'll bet if people would reformat, reinstall and put in the latest drivers (making sure they have an adequate CPU and graphics card) and forego installing Galaxy Wars DOS emulation software, Bubba Joe's Real Cool Firewall for Win 95 and similar software, then the Dream problems would go away.
P.S. I'm not really flaming those out there who are having problems...just pointing out that there may be not one, but a myriad of reasons why Dreams are not working on your particular system.
