Can someone help me upload a dang dream?

Help!


Everytime I try to upload a dream I am met with failure.  I've tried on the following 2 systems:


Vista/ie7
XP-Pro/ie6


I've tried the main upload link and what happens is after I enter my info and hit Submit, ie thinks for about 30-45 seconds then I get taken to an ie error page saying the server did not respond.


I've also tried the test link from this thread. you can see from my comments in that thread what happens.  And now that test upload link appears to be totally down.  When I submit my info, it immediately takes me to a blank black page.


Can someone please help somehow? This is very frustrating.

If there is no response in the morning, post a reply and bump this back up into view.

It's the weekend - they don't work 24/7

Are you running a virus scanner or firewall? Have you tried turning them off?

I do run a hardware firewall that I do not have a good way to turnoff. I also run Windows Firewall that I could turn off. I dislike doing either just to upload a file. I would rather open up whatever ports are required if they are something other than 80. I think if they were using non-standard ports to transfer the file they would mention firewall port requirements. You were having problems too when you used Firefox weren't you?

We are looking into the upload issues. Unfortunately at this time we are not able to reproduce the problem.  Makes it a little harder to find where the error is.  So most likely we will have to put some debug information into the scripts to try and log the steps so we can try and identify the problem.

Sorry for the inconvenience but we will get this problem resolved.

Awesome thanks. If you want to me try at a certain time or use a certain link to provide some debug info I'm more than willing.

i had the same problem with a 31MB Mpeg2 upload - after 5 tries I gave up - my fix - was to recode the file to a .wmv 10MB and it uploaded ... - still kinda buggy all of this Dream Stuff !!! ... if they post it you'll see it's called ( Space Vista ) .. lol ..

Yes, could not get FireFox to work. IE seems to work fine, and I used this upload link:
