weather for second largest town in slovenia - maribor :(

Hello,

I am in problem, because my girlfriend lives in Maribor,Slovenia and I wished to surprise her with new desktop look and feel

..and at the end I wished to put some weather on it, and here is the problem - Maribor,Slovenia is nowhere to find. There is the capital Ljubljana, but no Maribor. Does anyone know for a solution of my problem.When I used Firefox, I remember, there was a weather tool and it did show also data for Maribor. It was called Forecastfox 0.9.3.1 and it took data from this page

From here it looks like the code could be EUR|SI|SI000|MARIBOR ??

Just checked Sysmetrix it has access to Mirabor weather. You can download it here Sysmetrix> You should be able to find a skin that has weather info on it, and matches the theme you are going for on your girlfriends computer here [link="https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?libid=28">Sysmetrix Gallery>

If that isn't what you want we'll try to find out what can be done with what you are using already.

You can see the available cities here
Pick the colsest one.

Thank you for your help dragonmage. I put sysmetrix on my computer and got info with it on weather in Maribor, Slovenia. I have now a clock on my desktop - and I must right click on it to get info on weather, will look some more to find a nicer looking weather show...

Now will go check also the other option that zubaz proposed, maybe there is a place near maribor on weather.com, if it is so, I can put a very nice looking weather gadget...

I did it

..I found Crystal-Weather made by Nah No Mercy and I got Maribor, Slovenia...I dont know how but I have it ..here is the pic of it..

It would be funny they would listen to me at www.weather.com. I asked them to put Maribor in their data...

and in just a few minutes I found Crystal-Weather and Maribor was on it. I think this object uses some system so they know from where I am? And then is not important until I choose some place whereever in Slovenia, they write the name of my town Maribor, no matter what. I wrote the code of the closest town to Maribor, it is Celje code SIXX0004 and I got Maribor.
I think so atleast, I am not smart..

Thank you once more. Umm...my girlfriend likes the old xp desktop, so I will just put some goodies on the desktop like weather, calendar and a clock. She will like this.

I think once you put the location in , then any weather widget uses the same one. I'm not positive on that though.
