I saw that post, I just wanted to reiterate and clearify, to the people that request these uncommon wallpaper resolution sizes to fit thier screen.
in reply to Quentin94, I understand what you have done to that image, but I am suggesting a way to have the image fit the same size without the distortion. As you can see the Windows Logo has been stretched to make it seem that the wallpaper is stretch and not natural. This is fine for some images (ie: same image with the logo would look fine) But the logo ruins it.
This is another image as you can see this is what the image looks like at a standard resolution, in this case I will use an 800x600 image

This is what the image looks like after the adjustments to 3840x1024

This is another image at 1208x1024

And this is the same image with the adjustments to 3840x1024 (The image isn't great but as you can see it is possible with a little finagling.

This can be done with any image with Photoshop or Paintshop. Just take a little time. Until we start to see more widescreen and multi-monitor wallaper, you will have to deal with the stretched image or use the tools available to satisfy you skinning needs
I want to thank the original creators of the images above. I hope I didn't step on someones toes by using these images.
To all the wallpaper designers, Many of use who too inept and lack the creativity, we give you props. It's people like you that keep me from looking at the bliss screen and think of misery.
