Hmm, I really don't know. If you set it to restore your original logon, it should do that and shut itself down.
Do you or have you used any other logon changing programs? When LS is running, it creates a .logonuiX.exe and XP uses that instead of the original .logonui.exe. When you set it back to default, then XP will use the original .logonui.exe.
You could try reinstalling Logon Studio and try to set to default again, sometimes that will work.
Or if you have Windows Defender, you can go to "Tools", click "Software Explorer", and under the "Startup Programs", disable Logon Studio and then reboot. Create a system restore point first, but that's what I would try. If it works, then uninstall LS.
