Today the FDA announced is was on the verge of approving cloned meat & dairy products into our food chain. And as many of you may or may not know...cloned food products are already in our food chain...and have not been labeled as such...since the FDA thinks you are just to silly to not want cloned food.
My personal opinion is that there are 3 things on this planet we should not be altering...Water...Air....& Food chain. I see no reason or need whatsoever for us to want altered or cloned food in our food chain. They have argued that the only genetically altered or cloned animals introduced into our food chain will the offspring of those used for breeding of a supposedly superior stock. Yeah...right...like bad genetics can't be passed on to offspring. And they are also strongly opposing labeling these product as being altered so we won't even have a choice in whether we consume them or not. We're still in the US....aren't we?
Anyway, Here are some links on the subject from both sides of this and at the bottom will be an address for the FDA in which you will have 90 days starting now to respond to them with your comments regarding this subject.
Sorry for presenting it this way but the link option is not working properly.
