| Is there a big difference between Omega and Catalyst? I use Omega because a couple older programs act weird on Catalyst, but I always wondered what makes them different. |
Yeah, theres a lot of difference. ATI coordinates with Omega. Omega tweaks the drivers to push your vidio card closer to the upper threshold. Omega has the complete blessing of ATI. ATI sends Omega their current drivers, and allows Omega to tweak them out. Both sets of drivers are usually released within the same week.
