Well it seems quite a few are experiencing the same 'what f%#k am I doing here' feeling that I am, and I guess that's to be expected with the new site coding. However, it's this other thing that bugs me more....the being beamed up to some off-world place with strange carryings on. I mean, if I'm in tha 'pirate' thread talking about Pecky tha parrot, I don't suddenly wanna be taken to some place where's the people are hand carving butt plugs with Tom Cruise's face on 'em......
Yep, that really happened, folks....I typed the word 'arse' in the far right of the text box, and the next thing I knew I'm on a site for fetish freaks with a thing for butt plugs...and yep, there really was an article about a Tom Cruise butt plug, seems he was most displeasured at one being made in his image

....
Oh yeah, I thought....so being a smart arse, I came back and typed in the word 'tit', thinking that'd take me to the Playboy site....wrong!!! I was taken to the British Bird Watchers Society....you know, where Brit men and women get together in the bushes and are (seemingly) studying our feathered friends. Yeah, sure! Yep, there's some 'tit' action going on there alright, but it don't involve camouflage, binoculars or "Sssshhhhhhhh, you'll scare them away".
Orright, so that's not exactly how it went down, but yesterday I was taken to a site that truly IS about bird watching (silly buggers don't know what they're missing) when I typed in 'parrot'.
Well I've taken all the usual steps to try and resolve it from my end: ran Spybot, Adaware and Windows Defender; ran MS' Malicious Software Removal Tool and Trojan Remover, also did full system scans using Avast in XP Pro, AVG in XP Home and CA Antivirus in Vista (triple boot) and came up with nothing. I ran Ccleaner to remove all cookies and temporary internet files, disabled all browser addons in IE and even booted into safe mode to check there weren't any hijackers hiding from normal view, but still nothing. The only FF addons I have at present are IE View ans Smiley Xtra, and I doubt those would be responsible, given the issue has occurred in both FF and IE7.
Could it be that Google is using some of Brad's covert technology to really piss me off cos I've stated many a time here that I point blank refuse to use ANY of their services?
