I have had Iconpackager V3 since its release and it has always worked installed at the sametime MS Office 2003 is installed. A couple of months ago out of the blue, if I double clicked an office 2003 file in windows explorer, it will open the office program, but not load the document. Example> If you wanted to open a word doc by double clicking on the document in windows explorer, it is suppose to load that document in the program word immediately. But what happens is, double clicking opens word, but the document does not load, I have to go to File>open through word.

I reinstalled xp and everything, and have pinpointed the problem to iconpackager v3. If I install iconpackager (not even load a package, just install it) then my problem occurs. As soon as I uninstall iconpackager Office works just the way its suppose to.

I installed IP on different drive, but same problem. I have currently reverted to IP v2.5 and does not cause a problem.

Any ideas or experiences with this problem and IP v3.

I have spend 3 days trying to fix the problem from Microsofts end, and all of their suggestions, and proven ways did not fix the problem. Tonight I just realized that it was IP causing the problem, so I'm hoping I can fix it from this end.
