Sadly, they'll continue to put it out, despite all the whining about not being given a fair go by MS.
Um, Nod32 is better than all of these products and it already works fine with Vista, so I think that Norton and McAfee need to...gasp...hire programmers to improve their products. |
Avast also works well in Vista, as does CA eTrust EZ Antivirus. Seems to me, this is another case of sour grapes and trying to paint MS' picture blacker than it really is ....if other security developers can create working AV proggies for Vista, McAfee and Symantec should also be able to do so. Furthermore, if these 3rd party AV programs are working perfectly well in Vista, then it dispells McAfee's claim that MS is deliberately shutting out 3rd party developers and shows them for what they really are....a pack of fear merchants who seek symathy votes through crying foul.
If they can't stand the heat......
