Dear all,
Been a WindowBlind user for some years now, and have applied many a theme. Always to my full satisfaction, but my latest theme 'Eminence' shows a flaw that I cannot seem to tackle.
Although my laptop, a 1.8Ghz machine, is not anywhere near being the fastest around, it never had any problem rendering a WindowBlind (5) theme, but with this one installed I run into the following:
Whenever I hit it doesn't seem to react. When I move my mouse, however, over the area where the startmenu would have appeared (standard XP menu) the regions start to draw, bit by bit and only the areas where my mouse is placed over.
It turns out the startmenu is drawn after all, but merely doesn't show. Every now and then, when now other programs are open and just the desktop is shown I DO get the startmenu.
Is this related to the CPU, that just doesn't cut it anymore, or can I try some settings to speed up the 'refresh' rate of WB5.
I found this to be the case with some, definitely not all, themes that I apply. I would prefer Eminence to remain installed, as I like it very much.
Your thoughts are greatly appreciated in advance,
Gerard
