Spyware and other bad things from wincustomize?

and do the the files use much ram?

Are there Spyware and other bad things in files from wincustomize, and do the the files use much ram?

I downloaded this skin to my xp home desktop :

That depends on the particular file, and what you consider 'much ram'. I have 1.5 GB of RAM, so my definition of memory use would be different than if I only had 256 MB.

Im embarressed to admit I have barely even that amount - yet I cant still run most of the programs etc.

The only program that gave me trouble when I had 256 of ram was cursor xp and maybe object dock. Other than that, I have never had a problem. Now I have 1gb or ram. I can run as many stardock progs at the same time as I want.

Runs anything I throw at it, like gangbusters
occasional CXP reverting to default M'soft cursor, very, very occasional Obj Dock + having to close...
...dust bunnies...

...had a Presario 1800T laptop for years as my primary PC. 750MHz Pentium, 128MB RAM, ran everything available here and Stardock, I mean all, WB, hoverdesk, Desktop X, widgets, the works...[jeez I miss that ole dawg, but his 10GB hd blew...]

xyz: buy the full monte of Stardock, WinCustomize membership, all the bells and whistles. You will NEVER regret it. It will, however, demand a great deal of your 'expendable' spare time

If you are looking for spyware, viruses, and trojans in any of these products all you have to do is download one from some P2P site. The material on this site is 100% free of junk. None of the zip files have corrupted .exe files. There are no fake links to take you to some scam site. No pop ups suddenly start appearing. It is all clean.

Not to say ALL skinning sites are "bad" and I won't mention the ones that are.

But, WinCustomize.com is just one of the few I'll name out there that still has integrity. There is absolutally NO spyware, adware or anything of the above to be "caught" from this site.

WinCustomize.com's Staff as I've said, has intergrity. You'll never "catch" any "bad stuff" here!

I have also downloaded Vista Shades, and DesktopX to i have also instal DesktopX how do i instal Vista Shades?

Wincustomize site does not contain any Spyware.

1. I did not think bugmenot worked at WC, maybe something they need to look into.
The reason it should not work here is that registered members ( non subscribers ) have a download limit. Downloading by using bugmenot you are using up that persons limit.
2. Since you have posted to ask the question you have, there is some interest in WC and the content. If you are interested why not take the 2 min. and register.
