Tweaking--is it just me?

I spend hours doing almost imperceptible tweaks on my PC when I could be doing something constructive like skinning (or house-cleaning even). It's especially fun while listening to MLB Audio.

Do you ever stop playing with your PC? Do you have any favorite tweaking toys? Usually I do it the hard way, but did enjoy X-Setup Pro Classic, till my trial version expired. May have to break down & buy it. Sometimes I use TweakUI-XP. Do you have a collection of Registry back-ups or just keep the most recent? (Most recent myself)

Yea I keep tweaking too. I only keep the most recent back-up plus the one before that one.

I'm forever cleaning and tweaking things....constantly changing skins and saving new desktops as suites in ThemnManager. I too use TweakUI and X-Setup, but I also have a proggie called Fresh-UI put out by a company called Fresh Devices

It's similar to TweakUI but it has a few more settings to play with....they also put out FreshDiagnose and FreshDownload, both are handy tools for benchmarking and downloading respectively. They are free to use but they do ask that you register them, which is also free to do.
