Although Virtual PC 2004 works fine when skinned, there is a problem where moving a Virtual PC window to another location leaves a dead area the size of that window on the screen that cannot be repainted by any application until Virtual PC is minimised or closed.
Also context menus and titlebars that cross a Virtual PC window are not drawn where there is overlap.
(As Virtual PC is now a free download, this should be a bit easier for you to track down).
PS1: The new build is a significant improvement, presumably due to the ATI optimisations. Most of all I am noticing that there are fewer glitchs - previously I had occasional little ghost fragments of window frame and text left behind after something had moved, minimised or closed. These are fixed. There appear to be no problems with these new changes so far.
PS2: Shadows would be greatly improved if they were only drawn for the active window when windows overlap exactly. For example, if I open 5 IE windows, my window manager stacks them in perfect alignment. The super imposition of 5 shadows creates an ugly black band that looks nothing like a shadow. Not so much a glitch but a cosmetic issue, yet it would be nice if there was a way around it.
PS3: With this build, the Desktop Properties dialog still faults when opening WindowBlinds if shadows are enabled.
PS4: The new website looks great, but the preview tab for this post displays black text on a black background and can only be read when highlighted.
