For the past year or so, I have seen a number of posts concerning Theme Manager not downloading and applying the files.
I am not sure of the cause (whether an outdated version of Theme Manager, or an internet connection not being allowed, or handled correctly by the program).
If you are not running the most current version of Theme Manager, you could try downloading "Stardock Central" from Stardock.com and installing it. This should offer you the most recent version for download and install.
If you already have the most current version, or do not want to install Stardock Central, you can try the following work around:
1 - Under "My Computer\Tools menu\Folder Options\View tab", deselect the "Hide extensions for known file types" and then click "Apply".
2 - Change the ".suite" file extension on the downloaded suite file to ".zip" and extract the files to the same location they reside in, which will result in a decompressed folder with the suite's name.
3 - Look inside the folder and you will find anything from the component skin folders and some files, to simply a preview image and a "winstyles.ini" file.
4 - You can manually open any folders and place them in the correct program sub-folders to enable the individual programs to use them.
5 - For the "winstyles.ini" file, you can open it with notepad and under the "[Files]" heading, you will see listed programs and a URL address associated with it. You can copy and paste the URL into your browser and press "Enter", which will allow you to manually download the skin/theme file to your computer and then you should be able to install or manually place the file from there.
It is a bit of a process, but if Theme Manager is not working correctly, this is a viable work around.
