I have seen the future, and the future is Microsoft Virtual Server. This new product is due to ship in the summer, but for the time being I will be a little circumspect about giving away any details. I haven’t signed an NDA, but I probably should have done.
For those of you who haven’t heard about this product, it is essentially a server version of Microsoft Virtual PC (the old Connectix product). And it is very cool, although you will want to continue to use Virtual PC for client-type activities such as developing code. That’s all you need to know, really.
