I hope someone can advise me on this. I had to reinstall Object Desktop on a new computer, so I decided to use the disk I ordered. It worked fine for a while (a month or so), but now I'm having all sorts of problems (mainly with Window Blinds-using version 5 beta-got it from SDC), so I tried to uninstall, and couldn't. I had previously copied the uninstall.exe and tried again but it said the log file was gone. I tried using an uninstaller after that, and it didn't even show up, so I checked it's directory, everything looks the same. I read the FAQ that if you don't have the log file, the next thing to use is something called "ODNT Zapper". It seems like my only choice, but what I'm worried about is what else it may delete? I know it said it will delete all the ODNT stuff, but my Startdock directory is on the C drive, and it has Object Desktop, Object Dock Plus, and Win Customize all under the Stardock folder. I've already copied all the .pngs and .icos from the OD Plus folder, but the tabs, I couldn't find a way to save the tabs and all the links on them, which are considerable. So does anyone have any good advice? I'm a complete novice at these programs, but overall have good computer skills so I'll try anything reasonable. Or maybe I should just believe that the Zapper will only zap what it's supposed to. And as far as the content(widgets, WB's, all that stuff) in ODNT is concerned, that's already backed up. I just can't loose the Object Dock Plus content! Thanks for anything y'all can come up with.
Have a great night!
