Ok so I've got an idea for a "dock" but I don't think it's actually a dock because it's floating. Here's the idea:
When you press the windows key on the keyboard, a swirl of 8 objects appear around your mouse (wherever it is at the moment) the swirl stays in the same spot as long as you continue to hold the win key. Each of the 8 objects can either be an icon or a folder. Icons can be clicked just like a regular icon. Folders will expand when clicked on into a new array of icons and/or folders. You can click as many icons as you want before you let go of the win key. When you let go, the whole array dissapears.
Has anyone done anything like this before? If so, what was it called?
