This is a problem which developed just recently on my computer. I have WindowBlinds 5 installed, as well as the MSN Messenger extending program Messenger Plus! 3.63.143. When using any WindowBlinds theme with the "Menu backgrounds" setting checked under Basic Settings, it is impossible to see clearly any menu pop-up or pull-down that crosses or is beyond the border between the window and the taskbar. It is as if the pop-up/pull-down has been ghosted to near-complete transparency.

I think that this is some kind of conflict between MsgrPlus and WindowBlinds, because I have MessengerPlus set to make the contact list and the message window different levels of transparency, and the WindowBlinds theme that the problem first occured in did transparency effects as well (it was Touch of Glass 2). I'm not sure, though. Any ideas as to what is causing this problem or how to solve it?
