Other things I hate

I've already written about hating Sundays, but here's a less whiny list of other things I hate.

I hate moving. I move twice a year - out of one dorm, into another and other places in between. If it weren't for my folding dolly, I don't think I would make it. However, moving does teach you who your true friends are. But I'd rather find other ways of discovering my true friends that doesn't end up bruising me quite so much.

I hate speed bumps. Especially when I have to pee. Then, it's just mean.

I hate having to work on the weekends when everyone else is going out to party.

I hate raw carrots. Long story, don't ask.

I hate people who hate old movies and then, come to find out, they've never seen an old movie.

For that matter, people who hate things they've never experienced. They just hate them on principle.

I hate burning my fingers. You never stop hitting them on things once you've injured them.

I hate skunks. Especially the ones who commit suicide on the highway.

I hate the squeaky sound my shoes make on hard floors when it's raining outside.

I suppose I should follow this with a list of things I love. Seems only right.

P.S. onetime my boyfriend gave me a list of things he didn't like about me, so I said well let's each make a list of things we DO like about each other. My list of him was 5 pages long, he never made a list about me...OUCH!

I had to laugh at the skunk one. I dont care for the smell, but I can just see an adolescent skunk now: "I am going to end this stinky existance and ruin all those big iron monsters day to boot".

Speed Bumps !!!

There are few things I can say that I hate. Dislike, disapprove, possibly even disdain, but not the all consuming finality of hate.

( the skunks could come close, however our problem here is more of possum and raccoon suicides along with the homicidal deer )

I hate doing dishes; it's a futile exercise, really. There will be more in only a couple hours. Or less.

Jerks that do ALL their banking at the drive-thru rather than dragging their lazy carcasses into the lobby, taking up one lane for 30 minutes, sitting in what is supposed to be a speedy convenience.

Wrapping Christmas presents, spending two hours sitting in the exact, same spot, and losing the scissors and tape at least a dozen times.

Hangnails.

Losing a book before you've finished it (this really has happened to me!).
